AU in which the four best friends leave to Las Vegas to celebrate Desmond’s future wedding. When one of them suggests a drink on the rooftop, the morning after, the assassins have to go hunting for the missing groom.
it bothers me when people say Desmond’s ending was lame. he saved the whole world, he made the ultimate sacrifice, that’s not brave enough or important enough?

And besides what happened is that he was reduced to a Sadistic Choice: it was either condemn almost, what, 95% of the population to a fiery death with a 100% chance of history repeating or release a power crazed ancient alien who wanted to enslave the humans again with a maybe 50/50 chance of succeeding thus giving humankind a chance at fighting for their freedom. nbd indeed
