i think i’ve slain myself with the lineart but if there’s one good thing to have come out of this it’s that i’ll never fucking forget how to draw those boots
(also this is called “nobody knows how the fuck malik has patience for altair and kadar and especially at the same time.psd” on my computer and i think it’s rather accurate)

Assassin’s Creed // Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, Connor Kenway, Ezio Auditore
Jumping on the Starbucks AU bandwagon! Assassins and coffee, how can I say no?
Okay, I lied, I just rushed and finished it because I know if I let it sit over the weekend I’ll probably become too much of a lazy bum to work on it. And no doubt I’ll look back on it in a few days and notice so many mistakes or things missing or whatever uuugh BUT IT’S DONE SO YAY.
Forget just celebrating Desmond’s birthday, we should have a Desmond week where we celebrate the least noticed Assassin in Assassin’s Creed. I just checked the back covers of AC 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, and 3. Nowhere does it mention Desmond, or present day, it’s just “I am Altair,” “I am Ezio Auditore Da Firenze,” “I work alone” “Two Assassin’s, one destiny,” and “Ignite the revolution as the Native-American Assasin.”
And in the newest issue of gameinformer Ubisoft has said Desmond’s saga has ended, you get to play as an “Abstergo research analysist.” Oh goodie.
Desmond needs more love, need I say more? I mean the first five games basically amount to “this guy’s life sucks.”
March 13 - March 20th should be Desmond Miles appreciation week or something….
all because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do.
well now i’m crying

Doodle in which Desmond strangles Juno.
Why the hell notUgh I can’t believe I drew this instead of studying for tests
I feel like this would have been a better ending than the actual one…

“Well, you would even be more useless to us had you frozen to death. Come in.”
“You wound me, old man.”
I really, really like AUs, if you hadn’t already noticed that in the inconsistencies of my posts. This one’s Berunov’s Assassin!Haytham, which also might tie in with Jeusus’ Templar!Connor concept…
It was mainly an excuse to draw Haytham without his god damned taco hat.I wonder what they’ll be discussing. Probably Connor.

Of all of the “What in the fuck are you doing, Ubisoft?” moments I have ever experienced, the Desmond/Lucy storyline (or lack thereof!) has been the most infuriating. Lucy’s death begins as an absolute surprise, Desmond fighting to prevent it from happening, appearing to have absolutely no control over his blade, the event itself so traumatic he collapses. He wakes up on Animus Island confused and exhausted, at which point Clay informs him of Lucy’s death. And what does he do? He falls to the ground, gasping for reason, trying to explain what happened. “I’m so sorry, it wasn’t me!”, he protests. It’s strongly confirmed in following dialogue that they liked each other, and this is perhaps what is most heartbreaking. Desmond felt something for Lucy, and then against his will, he is forced to kill her.
And yet, for some reason…this is all changed with AC3. We are informed, bluntly, through half-arsed dialogue that no, Desmond saw what would happen, and he saw that Lucy was a Templar. He chose to kill her. Despite none of this being established in any game prior to this.
And of course, the majority of the fandom just accepts this. It’s okay, she was a Templar, Desmond should have killed her, right? No. Few people have issue with this. The death of Lucy was a tragic event that Desmond would never have taken part in with choice. At no point did Lucy ever get a chance to explain to him why, after years of abandonment and neglect she chose to join the Templars. And it would not have been in Desmond’s character to jump to the conclusion of her immediate execution.
